Director/PDMR Shareholding

The Restaurant Group plc (the 'Company') announces that it has been notified of the following transactions in the Company's ordinary 28.125p shares undertaken by directors/persons discharging managerial responsibility:

-      Purchase by Andy McCue (Chief Executive Officer) of 5,617 ordinary 28.125p shares at a price of £3.354 per share on 31 March 2017; and

-      Purchase by Barry Nightingale (Chief Financial Officer) of 5,964 ordinary 28.125p shares at a price of £3.354 per share on 31 March 2017.

These shares were purchases under the Company's deferred bonus arrangements.

The relevant notifications set out below are provided in accordance with the requirements of Article 19 of the EU Market Abuse Regulation.
