As part of the continued diversification of the portfolio, the account managed
by Sofaer Caital is being reduced to £40 million, or approximately 6% of the
portfolio.

The amount invested by Sofaer Capital (excluding government securities) at 31
March 2002, RITCP's year end, was some £56 million.
