                            Drilling Activity Update:
            Offshore Perth Basin Exploration Drilling - Perseverance-1


Roc Oil (WA) Pty Limited advises that, as of 0600 hrs on 8 May 2007 Australian
Western Standard Time ('AWST'), the Premium 'Wilcraft' rig which has drilled the
Frankland -1 exploration well in WA-286-P was still waiting to move off location
due to adverse weather conditions outside normal rig operating limits.

The forward programme for the 'Wilcraft' rig is to move to the Perseverance-1
exploration well location in WA-325-P, approximately 80 km north of Frankland-1,
as soon as weather permits. The next Drilling Activity Update will be provided
after the rig has been demobilised from the Frankland-1 location.
