    Application for additional new warrants to subscribe ordinary shares in
   SPARK ('new SPARK Warrants') to be admitted to the Alternative Investment
                                    Market
                                       
                                       
The Board of SPARK announces that application has been made to admit a further
9,633,331  new  SPARK Warrants to trading on AIM in respect of acceptances  of
the  proposals made to holders of warrants in Softtechnet.com plc  on  5  July
2000  pursuant  to  the  recommended offer for  that  company.   Admission  is
expected to take place on 2 August 2000.
