NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTORS STOCK PURCHASES
SPARK Ventures plc ('SPARK' - formerly NewMedia Spark plc) announces that two
directors have today chosen to purchase shares in SPARK by exercising share
options originally granted under the NewMedia SPARK plc 2001 share option
scheme. These share options are over existing ordinary 2.5p shares held by the
NewMedia SPARK Employee Benefit Trust.
Details of the option exercise are as follows:
