("SPARK" or the "Company")

Directors' Dealings

SPARK announces that directors, Andrew Carruthers and Andrew Betton have today exercised options ("Options") to acquire ordinary shares of 0.3p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). The Options were originally granted under the NewMedia SPARK plc 2005 shares option scheme.

Details of the Options exercised are as follows:

Other holders have also today exercised their Options to acquire 3,545,454 Ordinary Shares at a price of 2.5p per Ordinary Share. All Ordinary Shares that have been issued pursuant to the exercise of the Options have been taken from the Company's holding in treasury.

Accordingly, following the exercise of the Options, the Company has 450,000,000 Ordinary Shares in issue of which 31,154,311 are held in treasury. The total number of current voting rights in the Company is therefore 418,845,689.

The figure of 418,845,689 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company pursuant to the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
