NewMedia SPARK plc ('the Company')
Purchase by Director
The Company announces that it has been notified that Roger Parry, a Director
of the Company, on 20 March 2001 purchased 7000 NewMedia Spark Warrants
('SPARK warrants') at a price of £0.0714 each.
The SPARK warrants were created on 27 June 2000 and are exercisable at anytime
until 6 July 2003. Each SPARK warrant entitles the holder to subscribe for one
NewMedia SPARK ordinary share at a price of 75p per share.
The Company further announces that it has been notified that Roger Parry, a
Director of the Company, purchased 31220 NewMedia Spark plc Ordinary shares
('SPARK shares') at a price of £0.77 each.
These purchases were made in fulfillment of a put option entered into by Mr.
Parry.
Following this notification the beneficial holder owns 912,700 SPARK warrants
which is 0.01% of the total issued SPARK warrants and 4,070,642 SPARK shares
which is 0.08% of the total issued SPARK shares.
