Joint Venture with GlobalEuroNet Group Inc.

   ENTERS INTO JOINT VENTURE WITH GLOBALEURONET GROUP INC.


NewMedia SPARK ('SPARK') announces that it has entered  into
a    joint    venture   with   GlobalEuroNet   Group    Inc.
('GlobalEuroNet'),  a  newly formed associate  of  GlobalNet
Financial.com   Inc.  GlobalEuronet  is   a   newly   formed
investment  company  which  has raised  $43m  to  invest  in
Internet  and related technology ventures, with an  emphasis
on  bringing  US Internet models to the European marketplace
and  vice  versa.  SPARK has invested $350,000 and has  been
granted  a  7% equity stake in GlobalEuroNet, in  recompense
for  SPARK's operational and experiential assistance in  the
European marketplace.

Commenting  on  this  investment Michael  Whitaker,  CEO  of
SPARK, said:

'We   are  pleased  to  be  working  with  our  friends  and
associates  at  GlobalNet  Financial  in  relation  to  this
venture.  This  association will  give  us  exposure  to  US
Internet business models and ideas, and furthers our aim  of
entering  into co-operative relationships with a wide  range
of other players in the Internet marketplace where our skill
sets  are  complementary.  It is an  indication  of  SPARK's
growing power in the Internet marketplace that we have  been
able  to  secure a 7% equity stake, worth $3m at the initial
capitalization value of GlobalEuroNet, for a cash investment
of $350,000. We intend to work closely with GlobalEuroNet on
a range of investment opportunities to our mutual advantage.
We  also  believe that GlobalEuroNet's contacts  in  the  US
marketplace will be of significant assistance to SPARK.'
