                           Change of Accounting Date


As announced on 18 March 2002, Ross Group PLC ('the Company') has changed its
accounting date to 31 December, effective immediately. The Company's current
year end is 30 June.

In that announcement, however, the future reporting periods were incorrectly
stated.

The next three reporting periods will be as follows:

  • Preliminary results to 31 December 2001 - this represents a shortened
    accounting period from 1 July to 31 December 2001;

  • Interim accounts for the 6 month period to 30 June 2002; and

  • Preliminary results for the 12 month accounting period to 31 December
    2002.
