ROSS GROUP PLC MAJOR CONTRACT AWARD

Ross Group Plc announce the securing of a substantial contract by its subsidiary
GEL Engineering Ltd. GEL is delighted to have won the award to supply EADS
Astrium Ltd with a technical communications satellite enclosure for testing and
transportation.

GEL Engineering Ltd based in Totton, Hampshire are market leaders in the design
and manufacture of containerised solutions, test facilities, special vehicles
and training replicas.

The project is now in the design phase and completion is planned for September
2004.

EADS Astrium Ltd is a world leader in space applications based in Stevenage,
Hertfordshire.

The initial value of the contract is £300,000 with the likely possibility of
further requirements this year to boost the value to over £700,000.
