                                 Trading Update



Ross Group Plc ('the Company' ) announces that it is currently undertaking a
review of its financial structure with a view to reducing its indebtedness. In
that respect, Ross will repay on January 20th 2003 the term loan extended by
HSBC Bank Plc. In addition, the Grande Group, the significant shareholder and
financial backer of the Company has indicated its continued support in the
development of the Company.
