Rotork p.l.c., the international specialist engineering group, is pleased to
announce the appointment to the Board of Mr Alex Walker as a non-executive
director.

Mr Walker is currently Chief Executive of Yule Catto & Co. plc, a specialty
chemicals company with operations in the UK, Europe, the Far East and the
Americas.
