Completion of Acquisition
Following the announcement made by the Company on 11 October
2000, the Board is pleased to confirm completion today of the
acquisition of Catalis Group Limited for an initial
consideration of £1.35 million payable in cash, satisfied by
the issue of 1,600,000 new ordinary shares to certain placees
for cash. The new ordinary shares were admitted to trading on
AIM today.
ATA group has also today received notice from two shareholders
pursuant to their obligations under sections 198 - 210 of the
Companies Act 1985 indicating that their respective interests
in ATA Group PLC have been diluted as a result of the Placing.
William Douie has advised the Company that his percentage
interest in the Company has reduced from 20.8% to 16.7% and
Clive Chapman has advised that his interest reduced from 23.4%
to 18.8% following the allotment of the new ordinary shares.
