Change in accounting reference date

Rurelec PLC (AIM: RUR), the AIM Rule 15 cash shell and owner of Turbines, today announces that it has extended its accounting reference date from 31 December to 30 June.

Following this change, the Company will publish financial information as follows:

·    During the transition period to the new period end, the Company will publish a second set of unaudited interim results, for the 6 months ending 31 December 2023, by no later than 31 March 2024;

·    The Company will then publish audited final results for the 18 months ended 30 June 2024, by 31 December 2024; and

·    Thereafter the Company will publish unaudited interim results for the 6 months ended 31 December by no later than 31 March (commencing with the financial results for the 6 months ended 31 December 2024) and audited final results for 12 months ended 30 June by 31 December in each calendar year (commencing with the financial results for the 12 months ended 30 June 2025).
