Sage completes US$400 million issue of US Private Placement loan notes
The Sage Group plc ("Sage" or the "Group") announces the successful completion of a US$400m issue of US Private Placement loan notes. The notes have maturity dates of May 2018 (US$50m), May 2020 (US$150m), May 2023 (US$150m) and May 2025 (US$50m) and carry interest coupons of 2.60%, 3.08%, 3.71% and 3.86% respectively. The proceeds of the issue will be used to refinance certain existing debt facilities and for general corporate purposes.
John Swift, Group Treasurer for Sage, commented: "We were pleased with the response from US Private Placement investors, with the good demand for Sage's debt reflecting our strong cash flows and high levels of recurring revenue. The notes further diversify our sources of funding and give the Group greater certainty over cost of debt at attractive rates and maturity profiles."
