                            Director Share Purchase



Walker Greenbank PLC (AIM: WGB), the designer, manufacturer and distributor of
furnishing fabrics and wallpapers whose international brands include Sanderson,
Morris & Co, Harlequin and Zoffany, was informed on 19 December 2007 that Ian
Kirkham, the Company's Chairman, had on the same day purchased 29,000 ordinary
shares of 1p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'). Of these shares, 19,000
were purchased at 42.345p per Ordinary Share and 10,000 were purchased at 42.70p
per Ordinary Share.

Mr Kirkham's resultant shareholding is 800,000 Ordinary Shares, equivalent to
1.36 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
