Launch of Harlequin lighting

Walker Greenbank plc (AIM: WGB), the luxury interior furnishings group whose brands include Sanderson, Morris & Co, Harlequin and Zoffany, is pleased to announce the launch of a stylish and extensive collection of Harlequin lamps, wall lights and chandeliers under a licensing agreement with Elstead Lighting, a UK company with worldwide distribution.

The lighting collection is being launched by Elstead at Decorex International, London's annual showcase for the interior design industry, which runs until Wednesday this week.

Harlequin fabric features in the shades of the lighting collection, with the bases made from ceramics, metals and woods. The collection was developed through close collaboration with Harlequin.

Hampshire-based Elstead, which has a factory and showroom in Alton, will distribute the lights through major department stores, independent lighting retailers and existing Harlequin sales channels. They will also be distributed into key export markets.

Harlequin already operates several successful licensing programmes in product categories including rugs, bedlinen and bath towels. A key objective of the Harlequin brand is to increase the range of Harlequin products available for use throughout the home, carefully integrating Harlequin wallpapers and fabrics with many other product categories.
