Final Dividend

For The Year EndED 30 September 2008

The Directors of Schroder AsiaPacific Fund plc have recommended the payment of a final interim dividend of 2.40p net per share for the year ended 30 September 2008.  Subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming AGM on 28 January 2009, the dividend will be paid on 4 February 2009.
