Schroder AsiaPacific Fund plc (the "Company") announces that on 19 November 2012 the Company purchased 4,700,000ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 233.75 pence per share.

Following this purchase of ordinary shares there are 141,257,189 ordinary shares and 28,443,527 subscription shares in issue. Each ordinary share carries one voting right; the subscription shares carry no voting rights. The total number of voting rights in the Company following this issue of ordinary shares is therefore 141,257,189.
