Management fee

Following its annual review of fees, the board of Schroder Japan Growth Fund plc (the "Company") has agreed with Schroders that the basis of the management fee charged to the Company will be changed so that fees are now charged on net assets.

The current fee structure is 0.75% per annum on assets (net of current liabilities other than short-term borrowings) up to and including £200 million and 0.65% per annum thereafter. The fee structure will remain unchanged, however, with effect from 1 November 2019, the fee will be charged on the value of net assets.

This will result in a reduction of approximately 10% in management fees, based on the current level of borrowings and NAV.
