Schroder Oriental Income Fund Limited (the "Company")

Change in independent auditor

Following a general meeting where this was approved by shareholders, the Company became tax resident in the United Kingdom on 1 September 2020 and became an investment trust on the same date. As a result of this change, following discussion with the Board of the Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers CI LLP, based in Guernsey, resigned as auditor effective 25 May 2022.

In accordance with Section 273 of The Companies (Guernsey) Law, 2008, PricewaterhouseCoopers CI LLP, has confirmed that there are no circumstances connected with their ceasing to hold office as auditors of Schroder Oriental Income Fund Limited, registered no: 43298 (the Company) which should be brought to the notice of the Company's shareholders.

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, based in the United Kingdom, have subsequently been appointed as the Company's Recognised Auditors for the current financial year, ending 31 August 2022. The appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as auditor for the next financial year, ending 31 August 2023, will be subject to approval by shareholders at the Company's next Annual General Meeting.
