Schroders completes Singapore private client acquisition

Schroders plc ('Schroders') announces the completion of the acquisition of the
Singapore-based private client advisory unit of Commonwealth Bank of Australia
by Schroder & Co (Asia) Limited, a Singapore subsidiary. The proposed
acquisition was announced on 2 October 2007. The business has over US$660
million of assets under administration and employs 12 people. Mr Khing Go,
previously Head of Private Banking Asia Advisory for Commonwealth Bank of
Australia, has been appointed Schroders Head of Private Clients Asia.
