We hereby advise in compliance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985 and
Chapter 16 of the Listing Rules, Mr M.W.R. Dobson, Chief Executive, has today
been granted an option over 250,000 non-voting ordinary shares of Schroders plc
under the terms of the Schroders Share Option Plan 2000 at a price of £4.83 per
share. The award was granted for no consideration and is normally exercisable
between three to ten years from the date of grant. The award will also be
subject to the achievement of a performance target.
