Schroders plc announces today that on 31st March 2004 Andrew Sykes, an executive
director, will stand down from the Board of
Schroders plc and leave the Company. Jonathan Asquith, a member of the Board and
Chief Financial Officer, will assume Andrew Sykes'
responsibilities as Chairman of the Private Banking business. Michael Dobson,
Chief Executive of Schroders plc said, 'On behalf of the Board, I would like to
thank Andrew for his significant contribution to Schroders over twenty-five
years and to wish him every success in the future'.
