today been notified by Legal & General Investment Management Limited that
following the transfer into its management of 114,683 ordinary shares of
Schroders plc on 20th September 2001, the interest of Legal & General
Investment Management Limited is now 6,794,176 ordinary shares, representing
3.00% of the issued ordinary share capital of Schroders plc.
