The issuer advises that the 'SAR - RAC PLC' announcement released on 11 December
2003 at 13.36 under RNS Number 1543T was disclosed in error. A change in the
issued share reduced our holding below the 15% threshold. Our current holding of
17,702,894 represents 14.993% of the issued capital, which as at 11 December was
118,075,251.
