Board Changes

Following the announcement on 23 March 2010 and the subsequent Mandatory Offer for Sagentia by Mr Martyn Ratcliffe, the response to which the Board issued on 7 April 2010, Mr Ratcliffe has been appointed a director and Chairman of Sagentia effective immediately.

Dr Christopher Masters, Mr Lars Kylberg and Mr Staffan Ahlberg have resigned as directors of the Company.  The Board would like to record their appreciation for the contribution of Christopher, Lars and Staffan to the development of Sagentia.

The Board is also pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr David Courtley as a non-executive Director of the company with immediate effect.  David brings extensive senior executive expertise to the Group, particularly in Business Services-focused companies.  He began his career at Scicon Limited where he held a number of roles in consulting, sales and operational management.  At EDS in the 90s he was MD of the Defence Division, MD of Pubic Sector, and then MD UK.  He was also Chief Executive of E-Peopleserve, a joint venture between Accenture and BT between 2000-2001.  He was most recently Chief Executive of Fujitsu Services from 2001-2008, the European services company wholly owned by Fujitsu of Japan, formed in 2002 from ICL, parts of DMR and Amdahl. David currently provides consultancy services to a number of private equity firms and services companies.
