Management Arrangements

The Board of Scottish Oriental Smaller Companies Trust plc (the "Company") notes the proposals recently announced by First State Stewart of its intention to separate into two investment teams, Stewart Investors which will be primarily based in Edinburgh and FSS Asia which will primarily be based in Hong Kong, with effect from 1 July 2015.  The Board is pleased to confirm that following the separation it has agreed that the Company will continue to be managed by Wee Li Hee, who will be part of the FSS Asia team, supported by Scott McNab and Martin Lau. 

It is the intention that there will be no other changes to the Company's existing management arrangements.
