Issue of Equity and Total Voting Rights

Scientific Digital Imaging plc, the AIM quoted group focused on the design and manufacture of scientific and technology products for use by the life science, healthcare, astronomy, consumer manufacturing and art conservation markets, announces that following the exercise of options by an employee on 6 May 2017, it has issued and allotted 24,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") ("Option Shares"). Application has been made for the 24,000 Option Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and admission is expected to occur on 12 September 2017.

Following admission of the Option Shares, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue will be 89,633,424 and the total number of voting rights will also be 89,633,424. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

The Company also announces that in October 2010 it issued 666,500 Ordinary Shares relating to the first tranche of deferred consideration payable pursuant to the acquisition of Perseu Comercio De Equipamento Para Informatica E Astronomia SA on 15 October 2008 and also issued 19,400 Ordinary Shares in June 2011 relating to the exercise of options by three employees both that were erroneously not admitted to trading on AIM. Application has now been made for 685,900 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. The admission of these 685,900 Ordinary Shares is expected to occur on 12 September 2017 and does not change the Company's issued share capital and total voting rights as described above.
