APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE
Liberty Plc ('Liberty'), the iconic West End emporium 68% owned by Marylebone
Warwick Balfour Group Plc, today announces that it has appointed Geoffroy de La
Bourdonnaye, 50, as its new Chief Executive with effect from 1st July 2007.
Geoffroy joins from LVMH where he was President of its Christian Lacroix fashion
label subsidiary for the past four years. At Christian Lacroix he was
responsible for the rejuvenation of the brand by upgrading and streamlining the
womenswear lines, developing a range of complementary luxury accessories and
through the highly successful launch of a new fragrance.
Before joining LVMH Geoffroy, who has an MBA from INSEAD, held senior brand
management, retail and marketing roles within L'Oreal, Pepsico and Disney. He
spent 13 years at The Walt Disney Company where he developed its emerging
markets consumer products division as well as being responsible for the
turnround of the UK and Ireland subsidiary.

development experience to the business at a time when our Liberty of London
luxury brand is poised to expand dramatically. His proven track record will help
