Annual  Report and Accounts 2008; Notice of 2008 AGM; Amendments to Articles  of
Association

The Company's Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2008 and
the Notice of the Annual General Meeting have been posted to shareholders today.

In addition two copies of the Company's Annual Report and Accounts and Notice of
Annual General Meeting have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will
be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing
Facility, which is situated at:

A copy of the Annual Report and Accounts will be available shortly on the
Company's website: www.securitiestrust.com

At the Annual General Meeting on 15 July 2008, it is proposed that the Company's
Articles of Association be amended.  A summary of the proposed changes is set
out in the Appendix to the Notice of the Annual General Meeting also posted
today.

The draft amended Articles of Association are available for inspection at the
Company's registered office and shortly through the UK Listing Authority's
Document Viewing Facility.
