On 14 March 2016, Securities Trust of Scotland plc bought back 50,000 ordinary shares at a price of 132.35p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Securities Trust of Scotland plc holds 8,604,735 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 113,694,413 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
