SEGRO plc ('SEGRO' or 'the Company') announces that Baroness Ford has informed the Board of her intention to retire as an independent Non-Executive Director at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company on 19 April 2018.  She was appointed in January 2013.

Baroness Ford said:

"It has been a great privilege to have worked with SEGRO over the past few years. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Company as it has established itself as the leading pan-European owner of warehouse properties, and I wish the Board and the team well for the future."

SEGRO's Chairman Gerald Corbett, added:

"Margaret has done an excellent job for SEGRO as a Non-Executive Director, as Chairman of our Remuneration Committee (until last year) and as our Senior Independent Director.  She has made a significant contribution to the growth and success of the Company and we shall miss her wise counsel.  We wish her well in the future.

SEGRO remains committed to maintaining a diverse Board and we are members of the 30% Club.  In December, we announced the appointment of Carol Fairweather as an Independent Non-Executive Director and we shall remain mindful of the benefits of a diverse Board as we search for a suitably experienced Non-Executive Director to replace Margaret."
