Appointment of Chairman

The Board of Senior plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Berry as its Chairman-designate.  Charles brings extensive experience of listed companies and industrial markets and has the right skills and personality to lead the Group through the next phase of its successful growth development.  He will join the Board as a non-executive Director on 1 March 2012, with the intention of taking over as Chairman from Martin Clark when he retires from the Board, as previously announced, at the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting on 27 April 2012.

Charles Berry holds, or has held, in the past 5 years the following positions where he is or was acting in the capacity of a director of a publicly quoted company:

Current Directorships:
Drax Group plc	Appointed to its Board as a non-executive director on 15 December 2005, and appointed its chairman on 17 April 2008.
Securities Trust of Scotland plc	Appointed to its Board as a non-executive director on 11 May 2005.
Impax Environmental Markets plc	Appointed to its Board as a non-executive director on 1 October 2007.
Previous Directorships:
Eaga plc	Non-executive director and chairman until April 2011.

There are no additional details that are required to be disclosed by paragraphs 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority in respect of Charles Berry's appointment to the Board.
