Senior plc - Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Further to the announcement made in the Chairman's AGM Statement, Senior plc is
pleased to confirm the appointment, with effect from 1 May 2007, of David Best,
as a Non-Executive Director.

Commenting on the appointment, James Kerr-Muir, Chairman of Senior plc, said:

'We are very pleased that David Best is joining the Board of Senior plc,
bringing with him his substantial international finance and business experience.'

In the past 5 years, David Best holds or has held the following positions where
he was acting in the capacity of a director of a publicly quoted company:
