Serabi Mining  advises  that  it  has  been  notified  that  Barclays
Stockbrokers Limited has a notifiable interest of 13,326,002 ordinary
shares in  the capital  of  the Company,  representing 9.51%  of  the
ordinary shares in issue.   Barclays Stockbrokers Limited holds  only
an indirect interest over the voting  rights of these shares and  the
shares are  held  on  behalf  of a  number  of  clients  of  Barclays
Stockbrokers Limited.

The Company has been further advised  that Mr Steven Poulton holds  a
beneficial interest in 5,100,000  ordinary shares representing  3.64%
of the ordinary  shares in  issue.  This  holding forms  part of  the
13,326,002 ordinary shares held by Barclays Stockbrokers Limited.
