Recent meetings in China
Edenville Energy plc (AIM: EDL), the company focussed on generating new sources of coal-based energy in southern Tanzania, notes the feature on the Shandong Electric Power Construction No.2 Company ("SEPCO2") website covering CEO of Edenville, Rufus Short's and Arun Srivastava, Non-Executive Director of Edenville, recent meeting with SEPCO2 representatives in China. SEPCO2 are among a number of parties the Company are currently in discussions with concerning the future development of the Company's Rukwa project in Tanzania and updates will be provided as appropriate.
Rufus Short, CEO of Edenville commented, "Arun Srivastava and I recently enjoyed a constructive trip to China, where discussions were held with senior SEPCO2 personnel and other parties potentially interested in partnering with Edenville. This was part of an on-going series of meetings with a number of potentially interested parties I am leading. Whilst all these discussions are at a relatively early stage, we are pleased with the interest being shown in our Rukwa project."
