SIG plc announces that Mr D Williams Chief Executive purchased on 14th March
2006, 2026 SIG plc ordinary shares at 866.3 p per share as 'Lodged Shares' under
the SIG plc Deferred Annual Bonus Scheme (DABS). In accordance with the DABS
Mr Williams will be granted a nil paid option to acquire up to 2026 ordinary
shares at the end of the three year option period depending on the performance
of the Company against a pre-set earnings per share performance target.
The effect of this transaction is that Mr D Williams beneficial interest in the
ordinary shares of SIG plc is now 79,168 shares.
