TeleMessage Ltd launches new products and corporate website
Messaging International Plc, the AIM traded company and provider of converged messaging products and services, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, TeleMessage Ltd ('TeleMessage'), has launched a range of new products aimed at broadening the reach and functionality of its converged PC and mobile messaging services and has also redesigned its website to better reflect its offerings.
TeleMessage's new line of products include:
· A Messaging Gateway - this provides a multi-channel entry point for external messaging content and applications and user generated content, allowing secure and managed connections into the operator's network. It also facilitates application-to-person and person-to-application messaging traffic and the value-added service provider connectivity to the operator's network. The Messaging Gateway ensures operator messaging resources are used efficiently and according to the operator's policies. This product is an evolution of the previous Multi Alert product.
· An Internet Video Download application - this enhances TeleMessage's current video solutions, giving users the ability to download, as well as stream videos to mobile phones. PC users can now browse and send content from any video website to their friends' mobile phones. The video can be received as a video stream or a video download file. This application provides mobile subscribers with a simple way of sharing internet content through their mobile phone, providing an end-to-end platform for handling message delivery, real time adaptation, provisioning, billing and integration in web browsers.
· A File to Mobile application - this enables users to drag and drop any PC files, including text documents, presentations and spreadsheets, and send them to any phone in an easy and intuitive manner, making the mobile phone a portable disk for PC content.
· Microsoft OMS integration - this provides support for the built in SMS and MMS capabilities of Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 and allows users to send SMS and MMS via Outlook without installing PC add-ons.
Additionally, TeleMessage has adapted its PC to Mobile application suite so that Windows 7 users with an internet connection can send SMS and MMS, including pictures, audio and video, from their computer to a mobile phone. The service integrates as a plug-in into Microsoft Outlook and as a toolbar for Microsoft Internet Explorer and File Explorer. Customers will pay the operator for each SMS and MMS message sent via their monthly phone bill and TeleMessage will receive a percentage of this.
Messaging International CEO Guy Levit said, "We continue to invest in Research and Development and recognise the importance of its role as we move forward and develop the primary value drivers of TeleMessage. These advancements and product launches demonstrate TeleMessage's ability to supply cutting-edge converged solutions to our clients, which is essential as our users become increasingly adept to combining the use of their PC and mobile handsets in a multifunctional way. We are also pleased to present our newly launched website, which reflects our new products and customer offerings and will assist in our global marketing efforts."
