'St Ives plc - disclosure of directors' share interests
On 29 April 2003, S.G. Hambros Trust Company (Guernsey) Limited, as trustee of
the St Ives plc UK and Overseas Employee Trusts, ('the Trusts') purchased
500,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company at a price of 380p per Ordinary Share on
behalf of participants of the St Ives plc Equity Partnership Plan.
The Company was advised of these transactions on 29 April 2003.
The Trusts are discretionary trusts of which certain executives of St Ives plc
and its subsidiaries are potential beneficiaries. Four of the Company's
directors, Mr. Miles Emley, Mr. Wayne Angstrom, Mr. Brian Edwards and
Mr. Raymond Morley are therefore interested in the shares held in the Trusts,
from time to time in the same way as other executives of St Ives plc and its
subsidiaries.'
