Burwell grid-scale battery storage site visit
Smart Metering Systems plc (AIM: "SMS", the "Group"), an integrated energy infrastructure company owning and managing meter assets, energy data, grid scale batteries and other carbon reduction (CaRe) assets, is today hosting a site visit for analysts and institutional investors to its first 50MW grid-scale battery storage project at Burwell.
The presentation will be hosted by CEO Tim Mortlock and will include presentations from key members of the grid-scale battery team and two external industry partners, UK Power Networks and Trina Storage. The presentation will then be followed by a tour of the battery site.

During its H1 2022 results on 13 September 2022 the Group highlighted that the performance of the Burwell site was well ahead of the Board's expectations and upgraded the longer-term EBITDA per MW guidance. The site has continued to perform strongly over the July-September period.
Following the event, the presentation and the recordings will be posted on the investor relations section of SMS website: https://www.sms-plc.com/investors/results-reports-presentations/
