Director's Share Dealing

Smart Metering Systems plc (AIM: SMS.L), announces that it received notification that on 6 November 2012 Steve Timoney, Director, transferred for nil consideration 25,004,810 ordinary shares of 1p each in SMS  to Lochlane Investments Limited, an investment company entirely owned and controlled by Steve Timoney.

Following the transfer outlined above, Mr Timoney's total beneficial interest in share capital of SMS remains unchanged.
