Capital Guardian Trust Company ('Capital Guardian') is one of the affiliates
of The Capital Group Companies, Inc. ('Capital Group'). On 31 January 2001,
Capital Group notified the Company that its affiliates were, in aggregate,
interested in 8.01% of the Company's share capital.

This notification relates to the increase in the percentage interest of
Capital Guardian only, from 3.99% (on 31 January 2001) to 4.02% of the
Company's issued share capital.

Capital Group's affiliates, in aggregate, presently have interests over 8.04%
of the Company's issued share capital.
