Additional Information:

Capital Guardian Trust Company ('Capital Guardian') is one of the affiliates
of The Capital Group Companies, Inc. ('Capital Group').

This notification relates to the increase in the percentage interest of
Capital Guardian only, from 6.316% (on 18 May 2001) to 7.054% of the Company's
issued share capital on 15 June 2001.

On 12 June 2001, Capital Group notified the Company that its affiliates were,
in aggregate, interested in 11.08% of the Company's share capital. Capital
Group's affiliates, in aggregate, presently have interests over 11.745% of the
Company's issued share capital.
