                       SIAM INVESTMENT FUND
                           ANNOUNCEMENT

The Directors of the Siam Investment Fund wish to announce that an Extraordinary
General Meeting of the shareholders of the Fund will be held at 9 AM on 
May 14, 2003 in Bangkok, Thailand. The purpose of the meeting is for 
shareholders to vote on the following resolutions:

A) To ratify the Board of Directors decision to make a dividend payment to the 
   shareholders on March 31, 2003

   and

B) To approve a change to the Fund's dividend payment policy to follow that set 
   out in the Memorandum and Articles of Association
