The Directors of the SIAM INVESTMENT FUND wish to announce that at the Annual
General Meeting of the shareholders held on October 29, 1999, in Bangkok,
Thailand, shareholder approval was received for the Fund's 1999 annual report. 
Approval was also received for the re-election of the board of directors as
presented and the re-appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd as the auditors
for the Fund.
