Smurfit Kappa Acquisitions (the "Issuer")

€500 million 7.25% Senior Notes due 2017

(the "Notes")

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - 5 November 2013

RE: Cancellation of Listing

The Issuer wishes to announce that the Notes have been fully redeemed.  As a result, the Issuer has requested, and the Irish Stock Exchange has agreed, to cancel the listing of the Notes on the Official List and from trading on the Global Exchange Market of the Irish Stock Exchange with effect from 5 November 2013.
