                                 AGM Statement


George Hardie, the Chairman of Printing.com, will make the following comments on
current trading at the Annual General Meeting to be held at 11.00am in
Manchester today:

When we last updated the market, on 1 June, we reported, inter alia, that we
were currently opening an outlet every fifth working day and expressed our
optimism that the rate of estate development would accelerate. The table above
clearly indicates that indeed this has happened, with the network now standing
at 139 outlets open or pending as our expansion continues to gather pace.


We are pleased to report that the Territory Franchises in Coventry and Guildford
commenced trading in July. In addition, Options (each involving the payment of a
non-refundable deposit of £6,000) have been taken out covering the Southampton
Territory and the presently Company owned Store in Bristol. Of the 9 Territory
Franchise Options that currently exist, we anticipate that 5 of these outlets
will be trading by the close of the first half of the current financial year.
The first of our Boutique Franchises has also commenced trading.

An additional 12 Bolt-on franchise Agreements have been completed since the last
market update, 4 of which are centred on our new Guerrilla format. One agreement
has terminated.



Current Trading

Certain market sub-segments, essentially retail and leisure have proved more
challenging over recent months: however, the Company did not experience the
overall very soft trading in June / July that occurred last year. Accordingly
sales volumes so far this year are broadly in line with budget.


Outlook

Clearly momentum continues to build and the Directors remain confident about the
prospects for the Company.

Printing.com

Printing.com offers a broad product range including leaflets, postcards,
promotional cards, invitations, letterheads and business cards to consumers and
small and medium sized companies. Unlike its competitors, Printing.com Stores do
not have any printing equipment on location.  The Company's printing and
ancillary equipment is based at the centralised Production Hub with the head
office in Manchester. All work is produced in full four colour rather than two
colour.  Delivery to the customer is usually within three days.  The printing
sector has traditionally been served by smaller printing companies or other On
Demand Printers and is estimated to be worth some GBP1 billion.

Printing.com has three routes to market: Franchise Stores, Bolt-on Franchises
and Company owned Stores.
