The Company received notification on 13 September 2006 that as at 12 September
2006, The Capital Group Companies, Inc., its subsidiary Capital Research and
Management Company ("CRMC") and the American Variable Insurance Series - Global
Small Capitalization Fund managed by CRMC were interested in a total of
30,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company; this represents 4.33% of the issued
share capital of the Company.
