Sound Oil, the upstream oil and gas company with assets in Italy and Indonesia, announces that pursuant to the private placement through Astin Capital Management Limited ("Astin") announced on 16 July 2012, it was notified on 26 July 2012 that Manxdale Holdings Limited (a fund connected with Astin) is interested in 774,341,464 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company (representing 26.98% of the Company's issued ordinary shares).
